DELTA.COM/60GOLD Gold Delta SkyMiles 60,000 Offer
I just got the Gold Delta SkyMiles 60,000 bonus miles offer and wanted to break the details down on this site. This would be a good travel card if you mainly fly Delta only. If not, we always recommend just getting an overall miles credit card where you can rack up miles from everyday spending.
With that said I still wanted to review the benefits and pros and cons of this Delta.com/60Gold Gold Delta SkyMiles offer I just received in the mail for you.
What are the Perks for Applying for a Gold Delta Offer?
Ok so the first thing it explains is that you can earn a $50 statement credit with the welcome offer. So what do you need to do to earn this? Well you have to make a Delta purchase with your new card in the first 3 months. When I got my first Delta offer I ended up just calling them and buying a $50 gift card. This is perfectly legal and got me the statement credit.
OK next is the good part, the miles. You can get 60,000 bonus miles after you spend $2,000 bucks in the first 3 months of getting this card. The annual fee is normally $95, but is waived in the first year. So what this means is that 60,000 miles is worth around $600 towards Delta flights.
You also get priority boarding which is like zone 1. This is nice because I hate getting stuck at the end of the line and you can’t get an overhead to put your bags. So this is one perk I really did like. You also get to check one bag free which is worth about $60 bucks per person per round trip flight.
What are the Cons for Applying for a Gold Delta Offer?
I really like Delta, but stopped using them as I live in Florida and all the flights connected in Atlanta. I wanted a non stop flight so I always go out of Orlando, FL. This was just my preference as I just don’t like doing connecting flights anymore.
So I prefer going with just an all around travel credit card where I build up miles for everything I spend on. It just makes it simpler and there are some really great travel bonus rewards credit cards out there.
I you fly Delta a lot I would highly recommend applying for this Gold Delta offer. But, if you fly other airlines and prefer direct flights like me, check out some of travel miles credit cards that have some really great deals. You can basically build up a ton of miles each year for free travel. You can also apply online for other credit cards using online credit card applications.
